George Elmer BROWN Painting "Spanish Castle"  American artist George Elmer Brown (1871-1946) was known for his handsome landscape paintings. This view of a castle in Spain (it also looks a lot like the fortified French city of Carcassone) is an oil painting on panel in pristine condition and it comes beautifully framed. The work is marked with the stamp of the George Elmer Brown estate. It also has gallery tags from ACA and from Wally Findlay Gallery whose tag shows an $8200 asking price.
