Description: Gerlind Von Lwowski is a former ballerina who became a painter. This painting from Act IV of the ballet Swan Lake depicts "The Duel" between Odette and Odile overseen by the sorcerer. The artist writes: "My ballet paintings are an explanation of the wonderful craft of dance and a depiction of ballet stories. My goal is to bring the public a little closer to the world of classical dance." Gerlind Von Lwowski's paintings evoke the period & spirit of classical ballet.
