Annette LAWRENCE "Untitled, 1997" Etching  Typical of the fluid, calligraphic quality of Annette Lawrence's graphic work, this etching "Untitled, 1997" was created in conjunction with the Print Research Institute of North Texas. This work is produced in an edition of 10. Shipping and insur ance within the US is included. Selected Annette Lawrence solo exhibitions include: Arthur Roger Gallery in New Orleans (2001); University of Michigan Museum of Art in Ann Arbor (2000); Dallas Visual Arts Center (1999); African American Museum in Dallas (1998);and Bag Factory in Johannesburg, South Africa (1998). Anitra BLAYTON "...Syrupy Sweet" Screen Print  In this image produced in conjunction with Print Research Institute of North Texas, Anitra Blayton (b.1954) combines many ideas by means of complex layering and overlapping imagery with the use of vibrant color. "In the Garden of the Syrupy Sweet" is titled after the Langston Hughes poem "A Dream Deferred". This screen print is produced in an edition of 39. Shipping and insurance within the US is included. Lynda BENGLIS "Sacred Meal" Intaglio Print  In the late 1990's, sculptor/graphic artist Lynda Benglis (b.1941) collaborated with Master Printer, Stan Baden of Print Reseach Institute of North Texas to produce twelve images that use as their point of departure 19th century engravings based on Z uni hunting fetishes. The psychic energy of the original fetishes and their position in society in connection with big game hunting rituals is re-engaged through Benglis' own very different and personal art-making rituals. This work, entitled "Sacre d Meal", is a 4-color intaglio/screen print produced in an edition of 16. Shipping and insurance within the US is included. Benglis' work is represented in collections including: Guggenheim Museum, Museum of Modern Art & Whitney Museum of Art (NY) . GIANCOLI Photo "Virgin of Guadalupe Pilgrim"  This photograph, "Pilgrim on His Way to Basilia of Virgin of Guadalupe, San Balthazar", by Mary Teresa Giancoli is part of a recent series recording the Virgin of Guadalupe pilgrimages in New York City and in Mexico. For the past 5 years, Mary Tere sa Giancoli has focused her lens on documenting the life of the Mexican community in New York City; Giancoli is expanding her work to include images from Mexico as well. Evelyn Tripp "Smile" 1950's Fashion Photo  In the 1950's photographer Frances Pellegrini shot editorial photos for the pages of Harpers' Bazaar and other women's fashion magazines. Pellegrini worked often with model Evelyn Tripp and recalls this as one of the few photos in which Tripp smiled .
