Description:
Diane Holland makes art that employs, and sometime comments on, technology and its impact on the culture. Holland combines photographic, photocopying and computer-assisted techniques in making her artworks. "MARBU 813" is from an ongoing series of intermedia prints--some of which were produced in collaboration with writer Peter Frank. Holland frequently mines personal memorabilia and distorts and manipulates it for her complex prints. Peter Frank then coins words specific to Holland's images.
