Description: In her "Animal Dances" series of figurative bronze sculpture, Carol Bruns shows humans in the postures and attitudes of creatures from the animal kingdom. This low, splayed male figure is appropriately named "Spider". The bronze patina is a smooth, softly polished golden brown. The perfect scale and shape for a low table or sleek desk, "Spider" measures 4 inches high and 14 inches wide. See top view of this interesting sculpture. For more information about this sculptor and her working process, visit Carol Bruns studio in DUMBO (Brooklyn).
Many sculptures by Carol Bruns can be cast in larger scale. Custom casting prices are available upon request. See Carol Bruns in the April 2003 issue of Architectural Digest. View more Carol Bruns bronze sculpture.
