Description: In her "Animal Dances" series of figurative bronze sculpture, Carol Bruns shows humans in the postures and attitudes of creatures from the animal kingdom. A figure whose body language signals "closed", this female figure is aptly named "Clam". The bronze patina is a smooth, softly polished golden brown. The perfect scale for a table, mantle or desk, "Clam" measures 11 inches high and 4 inches.
