Description:
For the past several years, Mary Teresa Giancoli has been documenting the culture of the Mexican community--both in Mexico and in New York City--in her photographs. Mexican rituals, Mexican festivals and Mexican foods are her subject matter. "Altar, Day of the Dead" was photographed at the American Indian Community House in New York City.
