Description:
This heavy sandcast brooch features a turquoise stone measuring .75" wide x .6" high which includes shiny mica in its matrix. This vintage pin is certainly not later than the mid-1950's, and in fact, has a rather 1940's appearance in its form and heft. The silver may be coin silver rather than sterling--it has not been tested; the brooch is not marked. Vintage items are shipped unpolished to preserve patina.
