Description: This accordian book is about Mali in WestAfrica. Its title says "thank you" in the three languages sculptor Janet Goldner uses when visiting Mali: Bamanankan, English and French. Janet Goldner's welded steel "books" have pages that are hinged together and movable; the pages read independently--but also as an overall image when the book is closed. This hinged sculpture with its bold images and lacy cutouts is an engaging presence on a large desk, mantel or tabletop.
