Description: This 19th century British publication is entitled "Old London Street Cries (and the cries of today)" by Andrew W. Tuer, published 1885, Field & Tuer, The Leadenhall Press (London). This small book is illustrated with woodcut prints--one of which is colored--and ties shut. Of special interest are the title page which reads in small print: "Rights Reserved: Wrongs Revenged!" and of course that timeless London cry p.53: "Stinking Shrimps!" Please Note: This item includes only "Old London Street Cries" and not the lawn tennis book also pictured. |
