In the 70's artist Patricia Hansen used city views as the background for her paintings. In the late 80's she brought those scenes forward as subjects for her work. This view "Looking East Manhattan" shows a rooftop view from SoHo eastward. The solid wood frame is an integral part of this artwork view as framed. The frame is stamped with images from some of the rooftops; viw stamping on frame.
