Description: SOLD. "Skater" by sculptor Harry Gordon is a small work--just over 2' high---by this artist who is known for his monumental scale sculpture. "Skater" is a figuratively-inspired sculpture that was made by drawing with a stone ax and breaking the pieces into the desired shapes. Gordon was trained in a figurative tradition and his understanding of gesture and movement come through very effectively is this marvelous granite piece.
