"Twist" by sculptor Harry Gordon is a very human-scale work--about 4' high---by this artist who is known for his monumental scale sculpture. In his granite pieces, Gordon prefers a rather architectural, post-and-lintel structure. The torsion of this piece and its beautiful textural detailing make it a very lively, interesting presence. This sculpture is effective outdoors in a garden environment; becaus of its moderate size, "Twist" could also work indoors if there is sufficient space to letthe sculpture breath.
