Custom Search for Artworks | Searching our extensive online and offline database of artworks, Biddington's experts will locate the specific artwork you need to delight your client and to save your business hours of research time and travel expense. Typing "serene pastel abstract" into an Internet search engine, will not serve up the artwork you need. Submit Biddington's Artwork Request for Search form with those same words + the size of work you need + approximate price range, and we will conduct a search on your behalf and reply to you with a list of candidates--accompanied by a digital image of each possibility. Biddington's staff members visit artists studios viewing thousands of paintings annually; our records are generated from works we have examined personally. |
Visualize Artworks in Place | Email Biddington's with a photo of the space to be filled noting its approximate dimensions. Biddington's will respond with an email image of a selected work sited in your client's home or office. This mock-up image can be shown to the client on your web browser, or it can be printed on your own desktop to be included in a client presentation. |
Sculpture Siting + Solutions to Problem Spaces | Sculpture inhabits its space differently from furniture or decorative objects. We can offer guidelines for the spatial needs of sculptural works in a residential or commercial space or in the landscape. We can also arrange for the transport and siting of large-scale sculptural works. Difficult space to fill? Biddington's can propose solutions for it. We have access to many unusual-scale or odd-size pieces not on general view in galleries. We can suggest ideas on mounting, framing and displaying artworks in ways that defeat spatial problems. |
Help in Budgeting for Artworks | Especially with very large spaces, it can be difficult to make an informed estimate of art costs. Biddington's can advise on budget projections for a given area. |
Fine Art & Great Value | Most artworks offered come directly from the studios of emerging, mid-career and established artists. Our business is to offer value-priced, quality art in a range of styles--Realist, Abstract, Pop & Conceptual--and a variety of media--painting, sculpture, works-on-paper and digital. Biddington's supplies a professional resume and exhibition history for each artist to document the value of the acquisiton. Biddington's pricing for art is typically below gallery pricing. Because of this, we do not offer a blanket "decorators' discount". However, we are happy to work with design professionals on specific items to offer pricing flexibility. |
Shipment and Returns | Biddington's arranges packing, shipping and insurance of artwork. Many of the artists we represent have studios in the metropolitan New York area. However, we also represent artists in Latin America and Europe. Biddington's 7-day inspection period allows you & your client to view the piece in person and, if you wish, to return it for any reason. A full refund (less shipping and insurance) is given upon safe return of the artwork. |
